I have been consulting Dr. Anusha to treat gestational diabetes that continued even after delivery, with a complicated lipid profile. Now I am almost out of pre-diabetic zone, and a normal stable lipid profile, thanks to the doctor. She is very patient while listening to the problem, explains in detail why the problem is recurring, and also advises in practical terms only. E.g. exercise is always advisable for weight loss. However, with a new born, irregular sleep cycles and so on, it is impossible to maintain daily exercise routine. The doctor clearly understands the problem, talks from her personal experiences as a mother, and works out practical solutions for the scenario in hand. Also, she discusses how a medicine works, why she has prescribed one particular medicine. It has been very nice experience consulting her. I strongly recommend her.

Dr. Anusha is truly a great doctor when it comes to diabetes management and treatment. Last year i.e. 2022, in early August I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes and my FBG levels were 324 and PPBS 412, with HbA1c at 12. Under her guidance and treatment, I achieved remission in 5 months and HbA1c level came down to 5.8 in Nov'22, while now it is 5.6 without medication since Nov'22. She advised me to loose weight by following a specific diet plan and regular exercise and I lost around 16 Kgs in 6 months. Here is what I did to bring my BG levels back to normal- 1. Switched to millets and multi-grains as staple food 2. Replaced white rice with red rice and avoided starch or carbohydrate rich food. 3. To get good FBS levels, took at least 7 hours of good sleep. 4. Enhanced fiber and protein uptake followed with portion control. 5. Took multiple meals/snacks rather than going for a one large meal. 6. Walked for at least 10 minutes after a meal. 7. Morning walk 4-5 Kms. daily. Losing weight brings you a host of benefits as it improves your liver & kidney function, lipid profile and surely boost your stamina and energy levels. Getting diagnosed with diabetes is a life-changing moment as it definitely makes you worried and confused. All you need is to stay positive and get a good doctor. Do look for reading materials for managing diabetes. If you have Type 2, then it is all about your lifestyle. It does get better with some dietary and lifestyle changes. Managing diabetes and attaining remission is a marathon. It needs discipline, dedication and a good doctor. Thank you Dr. Anusha for all your support and guidance.

Dr. Anusha has been treating for nearly a couple of years now. First of all she is a very friendly doctor and encourages to have a free conversation, which is very important for a patient. I have a strong family history of diabetics. Eventually the disease caught up with me. With Dr. Anu's medical advise, switching over to low glycemic food (red/brown rice and loads of millets) and regular exercise, my sugar levels are pretty much in control and she is lowering the dosages in the past 2 visits. It takes two to tango is the phrase ... my take, as much your doctor helps to manage the disease, patient co-operation in adjusting food habits, actively exercising, and managing stress levels aids in managing the sugar levels. Thank you, Dr. Anu ....
